Kenya Under-17 National Team coach Michael Amenga is pumped up ahead of the Union of North African Federations (UNAF) U18 Tournament opener against Egypt on Saturday evening.

The junior side held their final training session in preparation for the match and Amenga is upbeat that Kenya will put on a decent show against the Pharaohs in the opening clash.

“This session was meant for us to brush through some technical aspects of the game that we will be looking to implement tomorrow (Saturday),” Amenga said.

“We know Egypt is one of the top nations on the continent but we are equal to the task and we’ll give a good account of ourselves,” he told FKF official website.

The match will be played at the Tolip Borg El Arab Stadium starting 4.15 pm EAT.

After Egypt, the Junior Stars will battle against Algeria, Tanzania and Morocco.
