Playmaker Johnstone Olindi is set to link up with the rest of the Kenya 7s squad ahead of Vancouver 7s next week.

Olindi missed the fifth leg the HSBC Sevens Series- Las Vegas 7s last week after he failed to secure travelling visa.

But Paul Murunga will have his top asset who was Kenya’s top scorer ahead of Las Vegas leg when Shujaa parades at the BC Place Stadium between March 9 and 10.

With 64 points on the card, Olindi will be a great addition to Kenya who is pooled in Group B alongside host nation Canada, Vancouver Series defending champions Fiji and Samoa.

Olindi, who has 30 tackles and 10 clean breaks will carry with him the experience, gained from Dubai, where he made his debut Cape Town, Hamilton and Sydney 7s to Vancouver as Kenya seek to better their 13 placement on the log.

While Shujaa has been fairing badly this campaign, Murunga charges might draw strength from the fact that they went all the way to the final in Vancouver where they lost 30-12 to Fiji.
