Gor Mahia have been fined Sh1.5 million by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF).

The latest fine, the second for K’Ogalo this season alone, as a result of crowd trouble witnessed during the CAF Confederation Cup matches against Algerian opponent Hussein Dey and Petro Atletico of Angola

Gor, who were knocked out in the quarter final by Berkane of Morocco last weekend, have been fined Sh500,000 for throwing bottles on the pitch in the first match against Hussein Dey at the Kasarani Stadium.

K’Ogalo will have to part ways with another Sh1million in fines for pitch invasion during their match against Petro Atletico.

The Kenya side were also fined a similar amount for unsporting behaviour by players Joash Onyango and Harun Shakava during their match against Lobi Stars of Nigeria

Cumulatively, Gor will lose at least Sh2.5 million in fines alone even as the club struggle to pay players match winning allowances that has led to rampant go-slow among players.
