Gor Mahia could miss the services of Dennis Oliech when they face Zamalek in Caf Confederations Cup match in Egypt on Sunday.

K’Ogalo, who are sit second in Group D, one point above their opponents, have pitched a one week camp in Egypt as they wait for the tie this weekend.

Hussein Dey of Algeria top the group with seven points followed by Gor with six.

Zamalek are third with five points, while Petro Atletico are at the bottom of the table with three points.

Oliech, SPORTSNEWS AFRICA has established, picked up a knock during training and is now a serious doubt for Hassan Oktay, who will also miss the services of Ugandan left back Shafik Batambuze.

The defender, who was left out of the Uganda Cranes squad to face Tanzania in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, picked up a second yellow card thus will be ineligible for the important clash.

“Oliech has picked a knock and I am not sure if he will shake it off by the time we take on Zamalek while Batambuze picked a second yellow card against Hussein Dey,” a source told SPORTSNEWS AFRICA from Egypt.

Gor Mahia have a poor away record losing all their last group games on the road to Petro Atletico and Hussein Dey.
