Former Harambee Stars goalkeeper Arnold Origi has joined Finnish side Helsingin Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna (HIFK) Fotboll.

Origi, 35, has been unattached since leaving Norwegian Kongsvinger IL at the end of last year.

The former Mathare United’s custodian has been out of action after his failed move to England after unsuccessful trials with English Premier League side Crystal Palace.

But he will be back to action after agreeing on terms with the newly promoted Swedish side.

“New city, new territory, new colours to defend with heart, pride and passion,” Origi tweeted about his latest move.

Origi who holds a Norwegian Passport and has 33 caps with the national team Harambee Stars, won the Norwegian Cup with Lillestrom SK.

HIFK are set to kick off their league campaign on Saturday against SJK, just two days after the official kick-off of the Finnish season.
