Huddersfield Town have been relegated from Premier League after a 2-0 defeat to host Crystal Palace.

Jan Siewert’s side lost at Selhurst Park and results elsewhere confirm the inevitable, with Southampton and Burnley both picking up wins.

Huddersfield become the first Premier League team since Derby in 2007-2008 to be relegated in March. They have won just once in the league since December.

The defeat is the 24th after 32 games this season confirming their poor show since the league started.

The Terriers surrendered a 3-1 lead at West Ham last time out to lose 4-3 at the London Stadium, a result which leaves them rock bottom on 14 points.
