The Polish referee who officiated Barcelona’s Champions League 4-0 loss to PSG in round of 16 in 2016/17 will be in charge of their second leg tie against Lyon on Wednesday
Szymon Marciniak was also in charge when Barcelona loss 3-0 defeat to Juventus in the quarter-finals.
He also refereed Barcelona’s group game against Inter in Milan this season which saw Ernesto Valverde’s men come away with a 1-1 draw.
The 38-year-old also oversaw the UEFA Super Cup last summer where Atletico Madrid defeated Real Madrid 4-2. At the Camp Nou on Wednesday Marciniak will be assisted by linesmen Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz.
Pawel Raczkowski and his assistant Pawel Gil will oversee VAR, and the fourth official will be Tomasz Musial.
