Harambee Stars are not under pressure to prove anything against Ghana, says Coach Sebastien Migne.

Stars are set to face off with the four-time African champions in a dead rubber Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday evening in Accra.

Other than the bragging rights and a chance to top the group F, this is nothing but a formality match with both teams having secured a smooth passage into the 2019 AFCN finals to be staged in Cairo, Egypt between June and July.

Stars are currently top of the three-team group that also has Ethiopia after Sierra Leone was kicked out of the qualifiers.

Stars beat Ghana by a solitary goal in the first leg staged in Nairobi. Kenyan soccer fans have continued to taunt the West African nation ranked over 50 places above Kenya in the FIFA World ratings, especially after they beat Ghana without key players-including captain Victor Wanyama.

But a relaxed Stars boss, Migne is not putting too much pressure on his boys even though a win is cruel for both countries, especially Kenya for their FIFA rankings.

“We are not under pressure. Even if it were a crucial qualification match, we still would have taken it easy. This will be a chance for me to gauge the players ahead of AFCON,” Migné was quoted by FKF official portal.

The two sides are set to clash from 9.00 PM local time and a win for Migne will take his point tally to nine in four games.
