Harambee Stars striker Masoud Juma has quit Libyan club Al Nasr citing political instability.
The former Cape Town City and Kariobangi Sharks striker parted ways with Al Nasr less than four months after moving from United Arabs Emirates (UAE).
Juma, who is among the national team strikers expected to leave the country for a three-week training in France ahead of the June AFCON tournament, joined Al Nasr from Dubai side Dibba Al Fujairah on 18-month deal.
But the journeyman on Sunday revealed that he will not be part of the Libyan champions citing political instability in the North African country.
“Due to politics, I will not be part of Al Nasr, I wish them the best in future,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Juma started his career at Isiolo Youth FC before leaving in 2014 to Shabana FC. He joined Bandari the same year for 18 months before moving again.
In 2016, Juma signed for Sony Sugar scoring 24 goals in all competitions for the Awendo-based side before he moved again to Sharks.
After winning the Kenyan Premier League Golden Boot in 2017 with Sharks, Juma moved to South Africa where he signed for Cape Town City.
The striker would only last in South Africa for six months before leaving.
From Cape Town, Juma signed for UAE club Al Fujairah for half a season, but crossed over again to Libya.
