Rwandan striker Jacques Tuyisenge has parted ways with Petro Atletico just 14 months after joining from Gor Mahia.
The striker confirmed via his official Facebook page that he will not be part of the Angola giants for the 2020/21 season.
“I feel very grateful to have had an opportunity to be part of the Petro de Luanda family, it has been a great experience with you all,” the 28-year-old posted.
“Thank you for giving me the chance to fulfill my potential here. I wish you the best in this continuing journey.”
Tuyisenge joined the Girabola side from Kenyan Premier League side K’Ogalo in May 2019. While with the East Africa side, the striker managed to win three league titles. In the process, he scored 50 goals and attracted the attention of the former Girabola champions.
He has initially played for Rwandan sides Kiyovu Sports and Police FC. It is at the latter where he made his name with 13 goals in the 33 matches played, and Gor Mahia came for him.
He has made 41 appearances for the national team Amavubi since making his debut in 2011, and has 14 goals to his name.
