Tusker will offer ten free match tickets in honour of the club’s former vice chairperson Mildred Awiti.

The Brewers who face off with AFC Leopards  in their next league game are seeking to bounce back losing to Nzoia Sugar as Coach Robert Matano tries to keep pace with league contenders.

But on the stands, emotions will run high as the club remembers former vice chairperson Mildred Awiti who passed on a decade ago.

As an extension of the celebration of the International Women’s Day that was marked on March 8, the club has offered free tickets to the first 10 female fans as they honour the former administration during the celebration.

“On this day we celebrate our first ever female Vice Chairperson. As we remember her, the first 10 female fans wearing Tusker jerseys will access the stadium free of charge when we play AFC Leopards,” Tusker said in a statement.

The match will be staged on Saturday at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. “She was a friend to many, a mother and daughter. She had a passion for sports and was always there for the team,” read part of the statement.

Tusker is fourth on the log while Ingwe are third from bottom with just one win from the last seven games.
