Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made six changes to his Manchester United team to face Wolves tonight in the Premier League.

United travel to Wolves on the back of a 2-1 win over Watford at the weekend, and know a win will send them into third in the table before Tottenham play tomorrow night.

Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku missed the weekend’s win as they had not recovered from the issues that also kept them out of the recent international break.

But the two surprise absentees were Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera, who did not travel with the squad. Rashford was confirmed as ill.

Solskjaer called upon Chris Smalling and Phil Jones as his central defensive partnership vs Watford, but Lindelof came in for Jones against Wolves.

With Herrera out, Nemanja Matic was dropped to the bench giving Scott McTominay and Fred the chance in midfield.

Upfront, Diogo Dalot assumes a right-wing position, with Jesse Lingard on the left to support Lukaku.

Anthony Martial, who limped out of the Watford game, is on the bench alongside Andreas Pereira and Juan Mata.

Manchester United starting XI vs Wolves: De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; McTominay, Fred, Pogba; Dalot, Lukaku, Lingard.

Man Utd subs: Romero, Jones, Rojo, Pereira, Matic, Martial, Mata.
